Distribute Your App
- The Web2py app admin provides an easy way to distribute applications.
- To send the app with open source code select "Pack all"
- To send the app with the source code locked click "Compile", then click "Pack all"
- A zip file is output to the local machine.
- To install an application that has been packed, under "Application name" type a name for the application you are uploading.
- Browse out the Web2py packaged application, then click install. That's it!
